Stem Cell Research and Pay-to-Participate Trials Webinar
Typically, patients do not have to pay to participate in clinical trials; however, as research funding continues to shrink, the growth of pay-to-participate trials has increased. STEM CELLS Translational Medicine hosted a panel discussion on Stem Cell Research and Pay-to-Participate Trials to better address the growing concerns of clinical trial research and financial conflicts of interest. The panel examined the benefits of this research funding model as well the potentials for misuse and ethical concerns.
