miR‐351‐3p Promotes AFMSCs Proliferation

A new STEM CELLS article from researchers led by Zhengwei Yuan (China Medical University, Shenyang, Liaoning, China) reports that early-passage amniotic fluid‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (AFMSCs) display a significantly higher proliferation capacity than late-passage cells. Huang et al. also reveal that miR‐351‐3p promotes the proliferation of early-passage AFMSCs by targeting and reducing the expression of Abc4, an ATP-binding cassette transporter gene.
