This virtual issue is devoted to leukemia, breast cancer stem cells, and ovarian cancer stem cells. Theoretical aspects of transplantation, analysis of clinical data, and the use of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in acute myeloid leukemia are discussed. Key aspects of the role of breast cancer stem cells in the pathogenesis of breast cancer are examined in articles devoted to breast cancer initiation, progression, and therapy. Factors affecting intratumoral heterogeneity, invasion, and migration of ovarian cancer cells are examined.
